What is Prime Video?
Prime Video offers a mix of Amazon Original series and films, licensed movies and shows, live sports (including NFL Thursday Night Football in the US), and a "Channels" marketplace where you can add other streaming services (like Paramount+ or discovery+) directly through Amazon.
Prime Video plans & pricing (2026)
- Included with Amazon Prime — Prime Video comes bundled with a standard Amazon Prime membership, which also includes fast shipping and other Prime perks.
- Standalone Prime Video (with ads) — around $8.99/month if you only want video, without a full Prime membership.
- Ad-free upgrade — a few dollars more per month on top of either plan removes ads from Prime Video content.

How to subscribe
- Go to amazon.com or open the Prime Video app.
- Sign up for Amazon Prime, or choose the standalone Prime Video plan if you don't need the other Prime benefits.

Supported devices
Prime Video is available on Smart TVs, Amazon's own Fire TV devices (naturally a strong fit), Android and Apple phones/tablets, game consoles, and desktop browsers.
